David Gabriel takes great pride in his close partnership with companies interested in maximizing the principles of Leadership by Design®. As both the managing partner of the firm and an individual practitioner, clients’ partner with Arcus Group and David, specifically, to provide key support in their efforts to optimize the complex leadership equations foundational to ensuring translation of strategy-to-execution and essential to achieving the alignment that dramatically impacts where on the continuum of survival-to-success-to-dominance any company will exist.

Between 1999 and 2002 Mr. Gabriel served as a Group Executive and Managing Partner at TMP Worldwide (NASDAQ 100 and S&P 500) with responsibility for that company’s Technology and Media vertical market groups globally. He was responsible for establishing and then growing his division into the fourth largest technology search practice in the world spanning 27 countries and serving as one lynchpin in TMP’s vision for “Intern to CEO” outsourced human capital services. Prior to TMP, Mr. Gabriel built the first iteration of The Arcus Group which was acquired by LAI/TMP. He also spent 10 years at the world’s largest and fifth largest search firms.

Prior to entering executive search, Mr. Gabriel directed consulting engagements in the areas of organization design and strategy for clients in the United States and Europe.

Considered an insider, a true partner, clients actively engage Mr. Gabriel in their businesses and as their relationship develops, he becomes a key partner, helping them identify and close their most critical leadership gaps and in the process, achieve the organizational alignment that dramatically improves performance and competitive positioning.

Mr. Gabriel completed graduate studies and post-graduate research at both Georgia Tech and Georgia State University completing his masters with its emphasis in Organizational Behavior at GSU. He has served as a visiting lecturer in the Organizations, Strategy and International Management Studies program at the University of Texas. He is certified by the National Association of Corporate Directors and is currently Chairman of AGResearch International, a leading market/competitive intelligence firm, a Director at Conxu, a business-focused mobile networking startup and a mentor/advisor with Tech Wildcatters, an early stage incubator.
